Hex is a strong open-source choice for teams that want a packaged dashboard experience. For teams that need workflows Hex doesn't cover (custom UI, write-back, role-specific tools), Jourier builds a bespoke React application on top of the same Data Hub. Both can live alongside each other.

Can I connect any system to Hex through Jourier?

Yes. Jourier's Data Hub sits underneath Hex and connects any of the 421 source systems we integrate. Hex reads from a clean modeled layer your team owns, with operational data joined from CRM, ERP, billing, product, and external sources. No per-system connector licence.

Is Hex required to work with Jourier?

No. Jourier's default is a bespoke data application coded in React and TypeScript, owned by your team. Hex is supported as a bridge for teams already running it, or for stakeholders who prefer a packaged BI experience. Both can live alongside the bespoke application.

Can I move off Hex later?

Yes, easily. The Data Hub feeds Hex today, and the same layer feeds any other dashboard layer or a bespoke React application tomorrow. The model and source pipelines are unchanged.

Who owns the Hex integration code?

You do. Jourier delivers the Hex integration as part of the Data Hub engagement: pipelines, data model, semantic layer config, documentation. Self-host or have us host. Hand it to another vendor whenever you want.

How fresh is Hex data after a Jourier integration?

For source systems that support change-data-capture, Hex dashboards reflect updates within seconds. For systems that don't, scheduled polling and webhooks keep the layer current at the cadence the business actually needs.

What does a Jourier Hex engagement cost?

Bespoke project, scoped to the workflows that matter. No per-seat licences from Jourier, no platform fees if you self-host. The Data Hub feeding Hex is delivered once and run by your team or by Jourier.
