Atlas Company data

Atlas

Every Finnish company in one place, around 460,000 profiles. The register says a company exists; Atlas says what it does, and every figure carries its source.

Portable technical infrastructure to any cloud.

A production-ready foundation designed to scale. Plug in pre-built modules for common workflows, or build your own on top.

Enterprise-grade from day one

Live from the first day, and portable later to any system. No vendor lock-in to Jourier: take the code, the schema and the models and run them yourself.

Hosted in Finland

Data and AI run in a Finnish data centre. UpCloud in Helsinki, and Mistral trained with CSC on the LUMI supercomputer in Kajaani.

Enterprise modular architecture

Scales to any level, from a new startup to a large enterprise. Build your own modules, or change the ones that ship.

The stack behind the unicorns

Talos Linux, Kubernetes and Cilium. GitOps deployments, a separate database per customer, automated security controls and self-healing.

Atlas views

The views ship with the product

Connect your systems and they fill with your own numbers. There is no modelling project to sit through first.

Inside a profile

Nine layers, each with its source

Atlas starts from the trade register and adds the rest, then keeps it current. Every figure carries its source and a confidence level, so measured and estimated are never confused with each other.

Atlas API

One API over the register and everything else

Jourier serves company profiles as modelled JSON on one endpoint, joined by business ID to your own systems rather than matched on name. A filing shows up beside your pipeline instead of in a separate tab.

  • Companies, financials, signals and procurement as first-class objects
  • Joined to your own CRM by identifier, not by name matching
  • Every field carries its source and confidence

Atlas MCP

Ask Claude about the Finnish market

Model Context Protocol is how an AI assistant calls a real tool instead of guessing. Jourier exposes Atlas as MCP tools, so Claude, Cursor or any MCP client answers from the register rather than from a plausible sentence about it.

Every answer resolves to rows you can open. The model retrieves; it does not compute the number, which is the only reason the answer is worth having.

  • Works with Claude Desktop, Cursor, and any MCP-compatible client
  • Every answer carries the source and the confidence level
  • Self-hosted models available, so your target lists never leave the EU

Questions

Atlas, answered

How many companies does Atlas cover?

Around 460,000 live Finnish companies. Sole traders are excluded. The register itself holds more, but Atlas covers the entities that trade.

Where does the data come from?

The trade register, financial statement filings, HILMA and EU procurement, company websites, job postings and e-invoicing registers. Every field on a profile names its source.

How do I know what is measured and what is estimated?

Each figure carries a confidence level alongside its source. Estimated revenue is labelled as estimated rather than presented as filed.

Can I get the whole dataset rather than the interface?

Yes. Atlas is available in bulk as well as through the interface, the API and MCP.

Does Atlas include personal data?

Public company data. Anything relating to named individuals is governed separately and is not part of the public profile surface.

How current is it?

The register layers refresh continuously and the derived layers on a schedule. Each profile shows when it was last updated rather than implying it is live.

Can I join it to my own systems?

Yes, by business ID rather than by name. That is the difference between a join that holds and one that quietly mismatches Oy Example Ab with Example Oy.
